Red Dress Day

Date
Monday, May 5
All day
Location
YVR, YYC, YYZ

On May 5, we honour our missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2 Spirit people across Canada. Red Dresses are hung to call the spirits back to their loved ones and to speak out about the gendered and racialized nature of violent crimes against Indigenous people. Watch for information from your Women's Advocate about events that day including a Red Dress installation.

Red Dress pins are now optional inclusions in our Uniform Standard and will be available on May 5. Proceeds will support the Moose Hide Campaign, an Indigenous-led grassroots movement working to end gender-based violence in Canada.

Contact Your Women's Advocate to get involved.
