Black History Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the history, achievements, and contributions of Black Canadians, past and present. This year’s theme, “30 Years of Black History Month: Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations — From Nation Builders to Tomorrow’s Visionaries,” marks three decades of Black History Month in Canada and celebrates the enduring legacy of Black Canadians. It honours the leadership, creativity, innovation, and resilience that have shaped our past, continue to influence our present, and will inspire future generations.
